One Month Old!

Check out the double chin! He looks so different than he did a few weeks ago. When he was three weeks old he already weighed 9 pounds! So obviously he is growing well. He is a great baby. He puts up with Koa's sniffs and Ella's pokes. He is also a very loud baby. He grunts and moans all the time. It's actually quite annoying at night when I am trying to sleep and he is just grunting away. He does most of the grunting right after eating so I'm not sure if it's because he is uncomfortable or as I have read online, whether it's him "figuring out his digestive system." He's a great eater (as evidenced by the pics), but he has a bit of a senstive stomach. For the past few days he has been eating every 2 hours, which is driving me insane! But when I try to feed him more, he ends up spitting it up, or throwing it up a little later. So for now I'm putting up with the every two hour thing. He did sleep for five hours last night, and usually he will do a four to five hour stint before he needs that first morning bottle (around 3 or 4 in the morning). But for the past two nights he has had to sleep right next to me, otherwise he grunts and moans and then starts to cry. I'm so tired usually that after about ten minutes of trying to get him to relax and go to sleep, I just lay him next to me so he'll quiet down!

Ahhhh...peaceful sleep

Wide-eyed and checkin' out the place.

I came back from putting Ella down for a nap and apparently Koa had decided Miles made a good pillow.

What I wouldn't give to get some sleep like that! He looks so comfortable!

My cutie pies.

Puttin' on some "lipstick"
Other big news. Did you spy the big girl undies in the picture above? Yes-Ella is potty trained! Yay! About a month ago I decided to just start putting her in undies and let her figure it out. She had about five accidents in two days and then we were good! She does great at nap time and during the night. She has wet the bed a total of three times, but those were all nights that she drank way too much before going to bed. She is great at letting me know when she needs to go-even in public and does good in the public restrooms. She still uses the potty that I have set up in the living room, so now I just need to work on getting her to use the big potty all the time.
I'm so proud of her!!!
We have taken a couple of trips to the zoo in the past few weeks so I will post some of those pics soon.
And Ella will be turning 3 soon--so more to come on that!
